Primary responsibility for this full-time, non-tenure-track position is teaching Marketing courses in the undergraduate program and/or graduate (MBA) program, beginning Fall 2021. Title and compensation will be based on the candidate’s experience and credentials.
Essential Job Duties
Teach BUS 360: Marketing Methods, BUS 461: Retail & Channel Marketing, and BUS 460: Consumer Behavior. Teach various marketing courses related to Marketing Management, Product/Brand Management, and Channel/ Services Marketing. Also teach marketing courses in the undergraduate and/or graduate MBA program. Teach three class sections per semester. Scholarly research responsibilities are to establish and maintain a research program in Marketing, including research in Consumer Behavior and Decision-making. Contribute to department and college service activities. Develop and deliver assigned course(s) under the direction of the Department Head. Additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Education and Experience
PhD in Business and Economics, Marketing or related, and one year of experience as a Graduate Teaching Assistant, Graduate Assistant, or any occupation in which the required experience was gained. Must have demonstrated experience with: teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in business management and marketing, as well as supervising master’s students’ theses; researching consumer behavior and decision processes, including applications to consumer financial decision-making; qualitative and quantitative research methodologies relevant to consumer behavior research, including behavioral lab experiments and/or field studies; multidisciplinary applications of marketing suitable for a large Business Management department, including research or teaching that intersects marketing and finance, or marketing and supply chain management; and practical application of marketing principles through relevant industry experience or applications in an academic setting.
